Since 1985, Taplow Board and Ski has offered fantastic waterskiing and wakeboarding on a beautiful 30 acre lake just south of the A4 between Maidenhead and Slough.
Now, as Taplow Board and Ski we continue to do so with even more to offer. Our great location makes us easily accessible from London (by car: turn off at junction 7 on the M4; By rail: Paddington to Maidenhead by train is just 20 minutes. Then a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bus or taxi ride).
Our facilities will suit anyone from complete beginner to intermediate levels, and provide an ideal venue for kids parties and activities, as well as corporate and group days.
GREAT VALUE – one waterski or wakeboard lesson at Taplow Board and Ski is just £23.00. We also have membership facilities available which offer even lower prices making all the fun and excitement of waterskiing and wakeboarding really accessible to everyone. We can provide all the necessary equipment, skis/wakeboard, wetsuit and personal flotation devices, all at no additional cost. We also have a number of inflatable towables like banana boats and ringos for a really fun session, not to mention our incredible Air Chair!
FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT – at Taplow Board and Ski you will find a friendly and welcoming atmosphere particularly suited for beginners to the sport. Our experienced and fully trained boat drivers and instructors will work with you at your own pace to help you develop your potential.
EXCELLENT SAFETY - We have been providing waterskiing and wakeboarding facilities since 1985. We are fully affiliated to British Water Ski, the governing body of our sport, and subscribe to their ‘Ski Safe’ child protection policy, in line with the NSPCC guidelines. All our boat drivers and instructors are BWS qualified and we have full third party liability insurance.
We are now open every day (please check our Operating Calendar opening and closing times). Hot drinks and snacks are available in our clubhouse which also has changing rooms, hot showers, free WiFi connectivity and printing.
